Welcome to Glasgow Ramblers
Glasgow Ramblers is a friendly walking group for people of all ages who enjoy walking in the countryside or the city with others who share their enthusiasm.
Our walking group arranges a walks programme suitable for people with different levels of experience and fitness. Walks are arranged for most weekends with occasional mid-week walks. Each walk, graded according to the level of challenge, is led by one of our volunteer walk leaders.
If you think you might enjoy walking with us, please have a look at the other pages on this website or our facebook page, and come out with us on one of our walks.
You do not need to join to enjoy a first walk. Just contact the walk leader and come along for a taster.
Glasgow Ramblers is part of the Ramblers' Association, the charity and representative body for walkers. For over 75 years Ramblers have been campaigning in Great Britain to protect the natural beauty of our countryside, promote walking and safeguard public access to land. Ramblers has a network of around 500 Groups (nearly 60 in Scotland), which promote walking through regular Programmes of Walks and also support the other objectives of The Ramblers.
You can read about our past walks and see some photographs here.
