If you wanted to go on that particular walk you can contact the walk leader and ask to be put on a reserve list for that walk. The leader may, or may not, be able to give an estimate of the likelihood of a place becoming available but you shouldn’t count on this.
If you would welcome a walk on that particular date you may be able to find a suitable alternative among the walks being offered by other local groups.
Walks by local groups lists the walks offered by other local groups over the coming month. The walks are shown as a list in date order but can also be shown on a map. The list of walks can be filtered to narrow it down by distance, grade, date, etc.
Groups not shown in this listing include: Bearsden & Milngavie, Monklands and Glasgow Young Walkers. For those it is necessary to visit their own websites.

Contact the walk leader as usual and check how the group organises its walks. This may be different from Glasgow Ramblers.
